Dining Policy
All employees are allowed to take advantage of the WokChow dining policy. It is a benefit WokChow provides, that can be removed at any time for abuse or not following procedures.
Front of House Employees
Front of house staff can purchase any menu items for a discount of 50%. These items are not to be consumed while on the clock, unless you are scheduled a double with no break or have received special permission. Furthermore, employees may invite others to dine with them on their days off. WokChow will discount half of the purchase price of up to one appetizer, two entrees, and one dessert. This is enough for a party of two. Full purchase price is charged for additional items. Employees should immediately pay for their food when ordered. Employees do not get a discount on alcohol unless noted by management. Employees must order at least one full hour before closing time.
ALL employee discounted food is to be consumed in the restaurant. This means no TO-GO orders.
Sushi (If available) is not included in the employee discount program
Any food ordering outside of these guidelines will be charged at 100%
Back of House Employees
Kitchen employees are afforded the benefit of employee meals at a discount of 100% with several limitations. All meals are consumed while clocked out unless authorized by a member of management. Meats excluded from kitchen meals are shrimp and beef. All employee meals must be consumed after lunch or before dinner. No take out is allowed.
If the kitchen employee wants to come eat on a day off, then the Front of House food policy applies.
